Mind Matters/ The Devils Cardigan Gravel Cycling Workshop

Level up your gravel cycling skills with our half day workshop in Hobart, Tasmania. Partnering with iconic Devils Cardigan gravel race, Mind Matters head coach and former professional Justin Morris and former winner of The Cardigan Nathan Earle will be leading a small group on a 50km loop around the lower slopes of Kunanyi/ Mt Wellington followed by post ride coffee and debrief at The Fern Tree Tavern.

The ride is available to anyone keen to improve their gravel cycling skills, with a specific focus on the specific demands of the challenging Devils Cardigan course.

During the ride the following will be addressed through instruction and short drills on the beautiful gravel roads and trails in the area:

-Cycle coaching attention tailored to you throughout the ride.

- How to be as safe as possible both solo and in a group on the bike.

-The dynamics of group riding atop gravel whilst rolling turns.

-On bike form/style to refine the efficiency of each pedal stroke.

-Group positioning in differing conditions.

-Climbing skills/ most efficient output of effort.

-Descending skills.

-Cornering skills.
